Hi, I’m Jessica Grae.

My own healing journey has led me around the world to study Reiki, yoga, meditation, sound therapy, & other healing traditions. What began as a personal journey of healing, growth, & self-discovery eventually became something I felt called to share with others.

I received my Reiki II certification in Thailand in 2023, & three years later, that path led me to Peru, where I continued my Reiki journey & became a Reiki Master.

Each teacher, place, & experience has shaped the way I approach healing & the way I hold space for others today.

how i got here.

I was 19 when I came across The Secret, & something about it completely shifted the way I looked at my life. It introduced me to manifestation, the power of our thoughts, & the idea that maybe we have more influence over the direction of our lives than we realize.

A few years later, I became a flight attendant. I wanted to travel, experience the world, meet people, & see what else was out there. What I didn’t know then was how much travel would shape me - or that it would eventually lead me toward yoga, meditation, energy work, & healing traditions around the world.

Years later, I took my first solo trip to Austria for a yoga retreat. At the time, it was simply something I felt called to do. Looking back, I can see it was one of many little moments quietly pointing me toward the path I’m on now.

It started with a book I wasn’t even looking for.

One path led to another…

Yoga actually entered my life around the same time I discovered manifestation, when I was 18 or 19. I had no idea then that it was the beginning of a much deeper spiritual journey, but this is where I was introduced to meditation, & eventually learning about chakras & Reiki.

Years later, during COVID, I suddenly felt called to complete my yoga teacher training. I never had a strong desire to become a yoga teacher, but something in me knew the training would open doors. I wanted the experience to take me somewhere outside of the U.S., & a training in Isla Mujeres, Mexico caught my attention.

I trusted it & went..

when reiki found me…

Somewhere along the way, I began to feel that I was meant to be a healer - I just had absolutely no idea what that was supposed to look like.

Less than a year after my yoga teacher training, that feeling led me to Reiki. Once again, I knew I wanted to travel to learn, & that decision eventually took me to Thailand.

Reiki was different.

My training there changed my life. For the first time, I felt like I had found something I was truly meant to do. I felt aligned, connected, & deeply drawn to the practice.

During my training, my Reiki Master began telling me that while meditating, he repeatedly felt that I had some kind of connection to India. I knew almost nothing about India at the time, but something about what he said stayed with me.

& eventually, I thought... maybe I should go to India.

when the path led me to india…

I booked a one-way ticket to India without really knowing what I was looking for. I just knew I felt pulled there.

I spent about three months in Rishikesh, surrounded by the Himalayas, the Ganges, temples, chanting, meditation, & a kind of spirituality that was woven into everyday life.

While I was there, I completed my meditation teacher training & studied Tibetan sound therapy - another practice that immediately felt deeply aligned with me.

But India gave me so much more than certifications.

It taught me to trust the places I feel called to, even when I don’t completely understand why yet. Some of the most meaningful parts of my journey have started with nothing more than a feeling that said, go.

& I kept following it.

the journey kept unfolding..

Coming home from India was an adjustment. After spending about three months immersed in a place where spirituality was so deeply woven into everyday life, returning to the pace & reality of life in the U.S. felt very different.

For a while, I kept much of what I had learned close to home. I spent time practicing, integrating, & figuring out how these new parts of me fit into my everyday life. Eventually, I began sharing more naturally.

I started hosting sound baths on the beach in Florida with friends & other locals. What began simply, gathering by the ocean with my sound bowls, became one of the first ways I started sharing these practices with others.

Around that same time, life started unfolding in ways I couldn’t have planned. I met Alex, my life partner & one of the most meaningful parts of where this journey has taken me. Our life together eventually brought me to Maryland.

Just a few weeks after I moved, a new yoga & wellness studio opened nearby. Alex happened to come across it online, & almost immediately, it felt like another one of those moments of being in the right place at the right time. The studio was aligned with the kind of space I wanted to be part of, & it became a place where I could continue sharing Reiki, sound baths, & the two together.

Little by little, the practices I had traveled around the world to learn were becoming part of my everyday life.

What had started as my own journey of healing, learning, & curiosity was becoming something I could share with others.

I wasn’t just learning anymore. I was beginning to find my own way of sharing it.

the journey continues..

Years later, that same pull led me to Peru.

I spent about a month in Cusco, where I continued my Reiki journey & became a Reiki Master. But just like the places that had led me there before, Peru became about so much more than another certification.

Surrounded by the Andes, I found myself drawn deeper into the traditions, ceremonies, & spiritual practices that are woven into this part of the world. I had the opportunity to learn from local healers, experience traditional Andean ceremony, & explore shamanic healing practices in a way that felt deeply personal.

Peru brought together so many pieces of the path I had been following for years. Reiki, meditation, sound, energy work, ceremony, intuition, & the connection between ourselves, nature, & something greater than us.

My time in Peru deepened my connection to Reiki & gave me a clearer sense of how I wanted to continue growing & sharing my work.
